George FREENEY Jr. became a running Razorback of the University of Arkansas
As a recipient of a full Track & Field scholarship and a member of an NCAA National Championship Track & Field team, George FREENY Jr. developed valuable skills in discipline, hard work, and teamwork. Specifically, he competed in the 110m High Hurdles and 400m Hurdles events during his time at the University of Arkansas.
Although he initially pursued architecture, George ultimately changed his major to Computer Science Engineering due to the demands of his scholarship. Despite this change, his time as a student-athlete provided him with a strong foundation for success in his career. He learned how to balance his time effectively, set and achieve goals, and work collaboratively with others towards a common objective.
George’s experiences as a student-athlete continue to inform his approach to problem-solving, project management, and teamwork in his current role as a professional photographer and creative technologist.
