As of 17 Jun 2023, there is a pending confirmation of the DNA match between the two to establish their relationship to Charles Hughes DEVEREAUX II, who is the father of Alfred M. DEVEREAUX and the brother of John William DEVEREUX.

        In the 1850 Census Slave Schedules, it is recorded that Julien Sidney Devereaux owned four Mulatto slaves. Among them is a male slave, aged 42, whose birth year corresponds to that of Charles, Tabby's Mulatto son, who was born in 1808 in Wrightsboro, Columbia County, Georgia.

        Based on this information, it is reasonable to assume that Charles Hughes Devereaux II is the father of the aforementioned 42-year-old Mulatto man, referred to as Charles DEVEREAUX III.
